AOD 2010 is over! What a great weekend... not. While it was awesome, it was not worth the $25... I didn't attend any of the events... we killed time more often than we actually did something, and we got berated at by several people. Before anyone complains "wait, no one yelled at us", as president i must make clear what they were: Saturday afternoon- please stop fighting; Masquerade- this is AOD 2010 reminding you that its all fun & games until someone loses a mic (how can i not feel totally guilty for that???); and Sunday- damn gokudera... I'm not even gonna explain what he did except that he was very in character... so much in character that we almost got kicked out.

Now onto the good part... well first off, AX 2009 totally pwned AOD 2010. However, since we all cosplayed as KHR characters, I felt very fitting. I'd say the three most cosplayed groups of what i saw at AOD 2010 were KHR, Kuroshitsuji, and Vocaloid. of course, the amount of KHR cosplayers was probably because we had nine people. We met a lot of other KHR cosplayers-- all the other gokuderas pwned our gokudera, i thought we had the best hibari and lambo (there were 3: a real toddler lambo w/out the trademark afro and a 15 yr-old lambo who... will-not-describe), and we were the only KHR group that had a reborn, mukuro, and chrome. funny joke: mukuro finally managed to possess tsuna because our mukuro cosplayer's name was the same as this other tsuna cosplayer's name. Other funny moments included the uber epic raping(s) of yamamoto's pikachu and the spontaneous videos we made. I really wanted to shoot a full lucky star, macarena, our skit (video form), and episode 51 of KHR... but we only managed to shoot the lucky star op because everyone was late on sunday. i also wasted $5 on a ugly colored drawing of dark from dnangel.... what a rip off. Before i left early on sunday, i stopped by one of the artist alley people and got this AWESOME mokona fanart for the same price. like i said, what a rip-off. :icon: also got a gintoki fanart from that dark artist... i hope she's not as disappointed.

anyways, back on track... I didn't describe the masquerade yet! *gasp* two very bad things happened: we broke several skit rules and someone stole yamamoto's pikachu. To be precise, go to [link] and skip to 5:36. The four things obviously messed up on: ryohei fell off the stage, i knocked off mukuro's wig, mukuro knocked down a mic, and reborn & tsuna tripped over lambo. Oh well... didn't win for the second time in a row I believe it might have won had we not messed up! This was so perfect a skit... everything was in synch with the exception of the stage space. And what totally embarassed me? The host's comment: "This is AOD 2010 reminding you that it's all fun and games until someone loses a mic" and everyone laughs. Humiliation much? >///< I'd still say it was the club's best skit ever so we MUST re-film it this weekend... in a better format. I also ended up taking a gazilliion pics, finding out I have this awesome retouching tool on my camera and fixing up a bunch of photos... all the Saturday ones went on to facebook and the only Sunday pictures I have uploaded anywhere is my Chrome Dokuro deviation and the club website image [link] . Oh and all those random videos? I'm gonna compile them together and post it up. Then, I'm going to finish editing that lucky star reborn op and show it to the anime club when i finish.

And the thing that really, really, really sucked about AOD? Is cause now I feel like there's nothing else to do with the Anime Club... *cries*
